Merry Christmas 2009

Wow this has been the fastest year so far!!!  I am still trying to grasp that the year is almost over however on the other hand ready for a New Year!!  The glory of this holiday seasons seems to just get set to the side between holiday shopping, getting out cards, parties and many other activities that go on during the season.  I have to remind myself that if it was not for our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST being born on Christmas Day I would have no peace, joy or salvation.  Please take a moment to reflect on what this Season means to you and look into the new year to find peace within your heart.  Please keep our family in your prayers as we will be faced with a new challenge in the next year .... Dawson was recently diagnosed with Sensory Integration Disorder.  I met with his therapist tonight and got all the indepth information on this disorder and feel very positive that with Physical and Occupational therapy we should see great progress.  Thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers!!  We wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

November 26, 2008 our family was blessed with a sweet baby boy, Jon "Davin" Swehla!!  Now this Thanksgiving we will celebrate his 1st Birthday!!  Davin, we love you so much!!  Happy 1st Birthday "Buster Brown"...........

OK, So it is TIME to catch up!!!

All I can say is WHERE DID THE SUMMER GO??? I can not believe my last post was when school let out! Oh well that's life huh?? I am now totally understanding what my parents meant by time flies!!  Here is a little update on our family.... Here are a few things we did this summer and what's going on NOW!

  Dawson lost his 1st tooth .... Davin got his first tooth in

  Dawson started 1st grade

  Sissy started preschool (we have already taken her out she will start back in January)
  
  
  
• 
  
  Davin got to experience his 1st Fletchers Corney Dog @ STATE FAIR
  
  
  
• 
  
  Celebrated Christan & Matt's Wedding
  
  
  
• 
  
  Dustin & I celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary
  
  
  
• 
  
  Dawson got promoted to begin his Junior program in Karate
  
  
  

And now the leaves are turning, such a beautiful sign of how awesome our Lord is and a reminder to me that he is in control.  You have seasons in your life that you have to go through to Grow Stronger in HIM.  (note to self ... I can not control when the leaves change colors, there for take a breath and allow and trust the Lord to do his WORK!)  I hope you all have been well and take time to enjoy our fall because...

Hello to everyone!! Finally I am updating our blog..... Ok, so where did May go??? Dawson began t-ball and is loving it! He also Graduated from Kindergarten and we began our summer with what better than a trip to Walt Disney World!!! Happy Mother's Day to all! I wanted to dedicate this posting to all the Mommies who feel an emptiness this Mother's day, it has been heavy on my heart this week about how greatful I am to have my babies to love on this Sunday. There are so many Mommies who do not get to bring their precious angels home from the hospital,whose babies grow their angel wings way too early or you are longing for a baby. I vow to make each day count even more, like it was my last, to cuddle longer, listen closer and praise the Lord in the days that you wonder why me! We all have those "MOMMY" days and just remember in the midst of a storm he gives us reason to praise him! So, what's a little rain, spilled milk or a colored wall? I am thankful for a wonderful husband, that my precious Dawson, Cailey and sweet baby Davin can rest in my arms and for a new life to love on in our family, Aunt Chas loves you baby Colby! Thank you Jesus for our Little Blessings!

Happy Valentine's

As we come upon the Valentine's holiday I thought why save your expressions of love for one day?? Whether it is your husband, children or friends, we should let the ones around us know that we love them everyday! In my children I have found my purpose, to be the best MOM to them and the best WIFE to their Daddy and to show them the love of the Lord everyday! So, don't save all your love for one day try and give a little love everyday!

To Dustin thank you for being my ROCK, the one that I find comfort in, you complete me...To My Dawson oh how big you are getting, you make me so proud and I love you for all your questions and answers to anything I need to know....To My Cailey Girl..you light up my days with your sweet ways and how you keep mommy on her toes... To My lil sweet baby Davin...your lil gummy smile warms my heart and just holding you close takes all the world's worries away! ...I am so BLESSED to have such a wonderful family...I love you all...Happy Valentine's....XOXO...Chas
